About the Recipe
Ingredients
One pound, Country Style Ribs
One quart, German Sauerkraut (NOT Bavarian style!)
Brand X Pink Apple Homestyle Seasoning Blend
Preparation
First, I season the ribs all over with Brand X Pink Apple Homestyle Seasoning Blend. Then the ribs get browned all over in a heavy skillet with hot oil. An option here is to season the ribs and put them on a rack over a drip pan in the refrigerator for a few hours to do a bit of a dry brine on them. The dry brine thing is really good but completely optional.
So, your ribs are seasoned and browned. Put the ribs in the bottom of your pan, add the sauerkraut on top of them an dadd about a cup and a half of water. On top of the sauerkraut, sprinkle about a teaspon of Brand X Salted Caramel Sprinkles; but don't stir them in. As the ribs cook, the flavor will spread through the entire dish.
If you're using a pressure cooker, follow the pressure cookers instructions as far as time and cooling. If you're using a pan on the stove top, bring them to a boil and then redue the heat to a simmer for about an hour. Baking them in a pot in the over, go with 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, ENJOY!
